Fix
v2.9.3
December 2, 2024Overview
This release brings some serious upgrades to your data visualization game. We’ve given the Matrix widget a brain boost with customizable thresholds and flexible column naming – because “name” isn’t always the most creative column header. Templates are now dramatically faster (we’re talking 20+ seconds down to under 5, and yes, we’re pretty proud of that one). The ConnectWise integration got smarter with charge codes and enhanced time entries, while dashboards learned a new trick with markdown-supported descriptions. We’ve also tackled performance optimization across the board and squashed enough bugs to make an exterminator jealous. Whether you’re building dashboards, analyzing data, or sharing insights, this update delivers a smoother, faster experience that’ll make your data work harder for you.
Matrix widget thresholds
Users can add thresholds to matrix widgets, allowing them to visualize when their numbers are missing goals.
Widget column features
- We’ve added an option to let users choose the first column’s name in the matrix widget. Instead of only being called “name,” the user can put any descriptive column name they’d like.
- We’ve added support for changing the date format in table and matrix widgets so that date columns can be more customized.
Dashboard descriptions
Users can add descriptions to a dashboard by going into edit mode on any dashboard and clicking the (i) info icon next to the dashboard’s title. The description supports markdown.
ConnectWise charge codes
Added the charge codes dataset for the ConnectWise integration.
Template speeds
Applying templates is waaaaay faster. Went from 20+ seconds to under 5.
Additional date format support
We can handle more date formats when importing data from other systems.
ConnectWise project fields
Added the project ID and name to the Time Entries dataset for the ConnectWise integration.
Performance and visual enhancements
- Tons of performance improvements and optimizations
- Added various minor visual improvements to the modified datasets editor.
General bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevented the “exclude mode” in the Fill NULL tool from being unchecked.
- Fixed a bug where some LionGard metrics had unsupported formats.
- Fixed a memory leak on the backend.
- Various Filter Variable fixes and improvements.
- More fixes for the widget threshold sounds.
v2.7.4
November 14, 2024Overview
This action-packed release brings powerful new features, important fixes, and serious performance upgrades to transform how you work with your data. We’ve supercharged our ConnectWise integration, introduced password-protected sharelinks, and even added support for one of the most archaic databases out there (looking at you, IBM DB2). Plus, we’ve tackled a heap of bugs to make your data visualization experience smoother than ever. Whether you’re diving deep into ticket histories or crafting the perfect dashboard, we’ve got your back with improvements that’ll take your data game to the next level.
Template & Data Management
- We’ve made the template gallery show all widgets on a dashboard so you can apply the template’s widgets individually instead of the whole dashboard.
- Added a tool to help you analyze data day-by-day. If you have data that shows when something starts and ends, this tool creates a row for each day in between.
- Users can add passwords to sharelinks to keep them private.
- Added Puerto Rico as a supported timezone (ya know, seeing as our HQ is there).
Widget Enhancements
- Matrix widget has an option to show cells as blank instead of 0.
- Option to add threshold colors to the Matrix widget.
- We’ve added “mode” and “range” as computation methods for widgets.
Integration & Database Support
- Added the ConnectWise Ticket Audit Log dataset so users can get more details on ticket history.

- We’ve finished the groundwork to support integrations with callbacks and are working on getting the “go ahead” from ConnectWise to enable it.
- We now support one of the most archaic databases, IBM DB2.
- Support to use multiple columns to create a primary key. This is useful when trying to pull in data from a database that doesn’t have a column with a unique key.
- Added support for multiple columns to be used as the join key in a joined dataset.
System Performance
- Increased status dot performance.
- Performance upgrades to our backend.
- Can handle additional Liongard metrics.
User Experience
- Logging out now navigates users to a dedicated logout page.
- We’ve added support for more data types that come from databases and integrations to make sure we can pull in more data from more integrations.
- The “Use Templates” button won’t show on integrations with no templates.
- Dynamic columns created from a pivoted modified dataset now appear in modifier tools after the pivot tool.
Widget & UI Issues

v1.0.2
May 4, 2023Overview
We’re back with another update for Resplendent Data! Our team has been working hard to enhance our platform, and we’re excited to share the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes in version 1.0.2. As always, our mission is to provide the best dashboard SaaS solution on the market and keep our users informed about the ongoing enhancements to our software.
Here’s what’s new in version 1.0.2:
ConnectWise Resplendent tickets dataset integration
Added the contact ID to enable joining the Resplendent Tickets Dataset with the ConnectWise Contacts dataset.
New fields for Resplendent ticket view
min_to_respond_goal
min_to_resplan_goal
min_to_resolve_goal
percent_of_respond_goal
percent_of_resplan_goal
percent_of_resolve_goal
These fields will help users monitor how close SLAs are to being breached on any given ticket.
Backend performance enhancements
Implemented small performance boosts in data processing.
Data re-processing optimization
Added a feature that checks for new data pulled from a given data source. If no new data is detected, re-processing will not occur for up to 5 minutes, after which a forced re-process will happen.
Line chart Widgets
Resolved an issue with selecting time increments greater than a day, which caused improper data point display.
Advanced filters in Widget editor
Fixed a bug that prevented users from comparing number-based columns to a NULL value.
Joined Datasets link issue
Addressed a bug where only the first column with a duplicate name in a joined dataset would get a link. Now, all links in a joined dataset point to the correct columns.
Dynamic text Widgets editing
Fixed an issue that prevented users from changing the value column after the widget was saved.
Syncing Notification
Resolved a bug where the syncing notification would get stuck if a dataset didn’t support pulling old batches of data.
Summary
We’re proud to present these new features and improvements in version 1.0.2 of Resplendent Data. Stay tuned for more Change Log updates, and as always, feel free to reach out to our support team with any questions or feedback. Thank you for your continued support of Resplendent Data!
