- Large snapshot syncs on wide datasets no longer run out of memory
v4.62.0
October 31, 2026Overview
Eric’s chat got a roomier glow-up with charts you can keep and send to a dashboard plus a play-by-play of what he’s working on and how much time Ultra fast saved you. Widget status dots now go by whether your sources are actually syncing and idle dashboards finally stop making your laptop fan earn its keep.
Eric Chat Charts
- Charts Eric builds in chat now appear as their own cards with a title and a row count line and can be sized compact standard or tall and column or wide.
- Add a chart to a dashboard straight from the chat and it stays in the conversation with a link to the dashboard it was added to. A View data toggle shows the rows behind it and View YAML lets you read and copy its definition.
- Charts are final once Eric finishes answering so a chart in an older answer never quietly changes. Ask for a change and Eric makes a new one.
- The Related work panel now has a Charts section and picking one scrolls right to it in the conversation.
Eric Run Activity
- Run Activity now sits on one quiet line above Eric’s answer naming the step he’s on and how many are queued with the elapsed time. Afterward it reads like Worked for 14s · 4 steps and you can open it to see each step and what it touched.
- SQL steps now say what Eric is looking up (for example Querying open tasks by list) and finished queries show how many rows they returned.
- Runs on Fast or Ultra fast show about how much time the faster speed saved and the live progress mark is tinted to match your Eric Speed.
- Steps Eric recovers from on his own now read quietly instead of showing red errors and Run Activity opens by itself when a run ends without an answer.
Widget Data Status
- Widget status dots now reflect whether the Datasets behind a widget are syncing on schedule. They turn yellow 2 minutes past a source’s sync cadence and red at 5 so fast sources no longer drift yellow and red while you watch.
- A blue refreshing dot shows while a reopened dashboard catches up or new rows are on their way instead of flashing every widget red.
- The status popover shows when the stalest source last synced and names the Dataset that’s behind.
- Widgets with relative date ranges or date-based SQL now refresh on their own when the date rolls over.
Eric Chat Refresh
- Main Eric Chat is wider (up to 750px) and tables now sit on their own sheet with clearer edges and stripes in light and dark themes. Wide tables step out past the answer card or scroll sideways with an always-visible scrollbar instead of hanging a few pixels over the edge.
- The composer has a cleaner two-row layout with attach and Eric Speed beside the send button. Sent messages leave the composer right away and if a send fails your draft and files come back.
- The conversation sidebar groups chats into Today Yesterday Previous 7 days Previous 30 days and Older and the usage ring is now a small usage bar.
- Eric’s replies sit in their own card set apart from your question and Main Eric Chat gets a new voxel grid backdrop that lifts under your mouse. Try circling your mouse on it for a while.
Dashboard Performance
- Idle dashboards now use a fraction of the CPU they used to. Healthy green status dots hold still and late or stale dots pulse a few times when their status changes instead of animating forever.
- Playlist Share Links running all day on TVs and kiosks use far less CPU while counting down to the next dashboard.
- Widget tables drilldown tables and the dashboard grid now use the same always-visible overlay scrollbars.
Eric Previews
- Eric now waits 5 seconds instead of 28 for a widget preview screenshot and moves on when your tab is in the background or the widget isn’t on screen so he no longer stalls on previews that can’t appear.
- Table preview captures are about three times faster.
Share Links and Invitations
- Record links in Share Link dashboards (like NetSuite record links) now open the right address instead of a broken one and a link that’s missing a required value shows as plain text.
- Share Link invitation emails are no longer sent twice after a reconnect or a double click and batch invitations skip duplicate addresses.
- Copying a widget or dashboard now only works between dashboards in your own company. Sample dashboards still copy as before.
Eric
- New chats now get their generated title in the sidebar even when the title takes a few seconds or you send a follow-up right away.
- When your access changes in the middle of a query Eric now retries it instead of giving up with an unauthorized Dataset error.
Datasets and Workflows
- The Datasets popover now says Processing or No new data in recent syncs instead of a misleading Waiting to process message.
- Dataset recovered notifications now fire for Datasets that were marked broken at exactly 5 failures.
- Data-change trigger diagnostics now show the source’s last sync and explain why Last evaluated only moves when new data arrives.
v4.60.0
October 29, 2026Overview
Eric learned to call your Datasets by their actual names and quit waiting around for previews that were never going to show up while Report PDFs stopped quietly dropping the last rows of your tables. Share Links and Filter Variables also got stricter about who sees what so every viewer gets exactly the dashboard they were meant to see.
Eric Speed and SQL
- Eric’s SQL now refers to your Datasets Query Datasets and Stashes by readable names built from their labels (for example dataset_shipments) so he writes queries faster and with fewer slip-ups. Older names in saved SQL keep working.
- Eric no longer stalls for up to 20 seconds or more waiting on widget previews that can’t appear on the current screen and several preview checks in one step now run side by side instead of one at a time.
- Linking the Datasets and Query Datasets an Eric SQL query used no longer adds seconds to his answer.
Source Inspection
- Eric can now see Zammad custom fields on Tickets Users Organizations and Groups (with their types and select options) when inspecting the source even before any records are imported.
- Snowflake sources whose configured database is missing or not authorized now show a clear warning while browsing tables and previews instead of a generic error.
Share Links and Filter Access
- Changing a protected Share Link’s password or removing a viewer’s email now ends access for tabs that are already open and those viewers are asked to unlock the link again.
- Members with Filter Variables limited by User metadata now only receive the options their metadata allows and drilldowns and CSV or Excel exports follow the same limits.
- Only admins and staff can now change a dashboard’s default filters or a Share Link’s saved filters.
- Copying a Share Link now works reliably in Safari and the success message only appears once the link is actually on your clipboard.
Reports and Dashboards
- Report PDF tables with rows that don’t fit their tile now continue onto a new page instead of silently cutting off the last rows.
- Report tables built on a Stash no longer error in Eric’s live preview.
- Dashboards with a widget missing its saved settings now recover automatically so they open again and can be copied or saved as a template.
Datasets and Syncing
- The Data Volume field in Dataset Options now shows the saved row capacity (like 100000 Rows) instead of a raw batch count and invalid batch sizes clear the choices until fixed.
- Joined and modified Datasets now show a clear source-data message when a stored file can’t be read instead of a vague pivot tool failure.
- Cancelled initial syncs no longer leave a Dataset stuck in processing.
Eric
- Eric’s Query Datasets and widget queries now accept URL text used as a value (like building ticket links) instead of rejecting it as an external read.
- Eric can now extend history on incremental Datasets that are ordered by a composite key instead of returning an invalid configuration error.
v4.59.0
October 28, 2026Overview
Eric picks up a speed dial and can now restyle your company themes on request while invitation links finally fit on one line. Dashboards packed with Query Widgets open faster and a batch of connection and sync hiccups got sent packing.
Eric Speeds
- Added an Eric speed picker (the lightning bolt in the Eric composer) with Standard Fast and Ultra fast options so you can get answers sooner when it matters.
- Each faster option shows how many AI Credits it uses before you pick it. Eric remembers your last speed and shows the active run’s speed while he answers. A one-time tip introduces the picker the first time it is available.
Company Theme Authoring
- Admins can now ask Eric or an AI assistant connected over MCP to inspect create and edit company Custom Themes including colors styling branding and browser titles.
- Copyable Default Dark and Cosmic examples make a handy starting point. Creating a theme never switches it on so selection stays in Settings > Theme.
Dashboard Speed
- Dashboards with many Query Widgets open faster and no longer time out on open because widgets that share a source are planned together.
- Query Widgets now work within the time left on each dashboard request so pending widgets finish or report back instead of getting cut off at the end.
- Query Widgets retry brief database connection hiccups instead of failing on the first attempt.
Invitation Links
- Invitation emails now use a short link that opens a setup page where invitees set a password or accept with Microsoft sign-in.
- Invitation links expire after seven days and work once and resending an invitation replaces the old link. Invitations and password reset links you already sent keep working.
Dashboards and Query Widgets
- Query Widget drilldowns that hit a broken query or an unavailable source now show a clear warning instead of a generic error and Share Link viewers get retry guidance.
- Table Query Widgets with unusual column settings no longer crash over and over when the dashboard opens.
- Table Query Widget page counts no longer jump between totals when columns overflow horizontally.
- Downloads from joined drilldowns recover from a temporary file read error instead of timing out.
- Open dashboards no longer lose their live session when background cleanup is busy.
Share Links and Live Connection
- Share Link dashboards reconnect after a dropped connection and finish queued requests instead of timing out.
- The live connection no longer stalls for minutes while a long report or SQL query finishes.
- Tabs left open across an update now reload onto the new version instead of breaking when a page section fails to load.
Syncing and Sync Agents
- ConnectWise Opportunity audit trail Datasets preview and sync again now that ConnectWise sends timestamps with milliseconds and the Company and Project Ticket audit trails accept the same format.
- Dataset syncs with no changes no longer fail and retry when they collide with Query Widget refreshes.
- Dataset syncs that hit a busy database now retry and recover instead of being dropped.
- On-premise sync agent auto-updates now work when the agent’s config file is private and the health check reports a problem instead of showing healthy.
Eric
- Eric no longer rejects safe SQL that joins a single-row summary (like a latest date or total) onto other rows.
- Eric now clears a conversation that is no longer available with a warning instead of reusing it and chat history drafts and attachments reset when you switch users or companies.
v4.58.1
October 28, 2026Overview
GitHub joins the integration lineup and NetSuite picks up Transactions Accounting Periods and live inventory datasets while dashboards finally look the part on phones and open noticeably faster. Eric got quicker on its feet and Share Links got a thorough tune-up so open tabs keep loading no matter who changes the filters.
GitHub Integration
- Added GitHub as a read-only data source. Connect a personal account or organization through Resplendent’s GitHub App and pick the repositories you want.
- Import Repositories Issues Pull Requests Pull Request Reviews and Commits datasets with configurable history so you can chart PR throughput review activity and commits per engineer across branches.
NetSuite Datasets
- Added NetSuite Transactions and Accounting Periods datasets so ledger lines can join to every posting transaction type (inventory adjustments journals and custom transactions) and to their posting periods.
- Added NetSuite Inventory Balance (item location bin lot or serial and status) and Aggregate Item Location datasets for current on-hand and available inventory refreshed as daily snapshots.
Mobile Dashboards and Duration Formats
- Dashboards now reflow for phones and tablets with responsive widget rows a compact header and icon-sized filter actions instead of squeezing the desktop grid.
- Query Widgets can format elapsed-time numbers as durations (for example 43.95 hours shows as 1d 19h 57m) in chart overlays metrics tables tooltips and labels while the underlying data stays numeric.
Eric MCP
- Added Eric MCP: a simple one-tool connection that lets AI assistants with limited tool support ask Eric directly. Eric picks and runs the right Resplendent tools and sends back his answer.
- Members and up with AI Chat Access can connect from Personal Tokens using their own permissions and supporting assistants show what Eric is working on while they wait.
Access Request Emails
- Company admins now get an email when someone requests access to their company with the requester’s name and a link straight to Pending access in Team and Access.
Dashboard Speed
- Dashboards open faster with results for up to 32 visible Query Widgets arriving alongside the dashboard and filter changes showing up without waiting on queued widgets.
- Resplendent loads faster on first visit because charting time zone and Microsoft sign-in code now load only when you need them.
- Open dashboards batch background refreshes from multiple sources together instead of re-requesting each widget for every source update. Filter changes and manual refreshes are not delayed.
- Dashboards keep refreshing in the background while someone has them open. Reopening a dashboard after a break shows saved results marked Updating and refreshes right away.
Eric Speed and Knowledge
- Eric starts answering sooner and searches your Published Data much faster especially in companies with many Datasets and Query Datasets.
- Eric now saves the analysis path behind an answer he worked out (which Datasets joins filters and caveats) to company knowledge so similar questions don’t start from scratch.
- Eric can see when a snapshot Dataset has reached its configured row limit and its stored row count.
- SQL queries from AI assistants connected over MCP now return in a fraction of the time even for simple lookups.
Reports Notifications and Integrations
- Preview Report and Save Snapshot now generate a report without prompting for parameter values and Preview Report no longer saves a Report.
- Dataset error notifications now link straight to the affected Dataset editor and Custom Integration errors for missing primary-key or timestamp columns explain what to fix.
- ConnectWise text fields and time entry notes now keep up to 10000 characters instead of being cut off at 128 to 4000. Resync affected Datasets to recover previously truncated text.
- Filevine Project Role Assignments now refresh newer active cases first so recent role changes don’t wait behind the full history scan.
Share Links
- Share Link viewers now only receive the filter options their link allows.
- Enabled Query Widgets on Share Link dashboards load correctly before any filter results exist.
- Share Link drilldowns now work using the link’s saved filters and date range.
- Open Share Link tabs keep loading widgets after another viewer changes the link’s filters instead of failing until reloaded.
- The View Dataset and Edit Query Dataset button no longer appears on Share Link widgets.
Dashboards and Query Widgets
- Drilldowns no longer slow down or time out filter changes on the same dashboard and one stale widget no longer blanks every widget in a refresh.
- Classic widgets no longer get stuck on Filtering data when a filter returns an empty result.
- The refresh spinner no longer waits on offscreen widgets until you scroll to them.
- Pie and funnel Query Widgets now follow dashboard label color rules so categories keep their colors when a row is missing.
- Numeric filter options now sort in numeric order (3 months before 24 months).
ConnectWise and Filevine Syncing
- Deleting a ConnectWise Dataset no longer times out while waiting on callback cleanup.
- Filevine Project Members and Project Role Assignments keep syncing after their first pull with no resync needed.
Workflows and Dataset Editors
- Workflow Wait steps with unquoted times from 10:00 to 23:59 now save correctly.
- Workflow schedule previews work again.
- Virtual-column grouping conditions no longer clear the first row or drop edits on save.
- The data modifier editor no longer errors when a modified Dataset fails to load.
Eric
- Eric can reuse results from earlier turns in a conversation instead of recomputing them.
- Filtering earlier results now keeps exact decimal and date matches and text searches inside SQL are no longer altered.
- Eric’s Dataset searches accept multi-word phrases and an unreadable column type now fails a single step instead of ending the whole answer.
- Report authoring no longer stumbles when your company has no House Styles yet.
- AI assistants connected over MCP can run several queries side by side instead of getting busy errors.
v4.52.0
October 22, 2026Overview
Stashes let you build tables right inside Resplendent and feed them straight into Query Datasets and widgets while Workflows learn to wait patiently for a ready response and compare one step’s output to another. Dashboards got a real speed boost and a long list of sync and workflow gremlins got shown the door.
Stashes
- Added Stashes: tables you create and edit right in Resplendent (Settings > Data Management > Stashes) instead of syncing them from an integration. Upload CSV TSV Excel or Parquet files or edit rows directly and reorder or resize columns with the layout saved alongside the data.
- Stashes work as sources for Query Datasets Query Widgets Filter Variables and widget calculations and show up in Published Data data lineage and the SQL workspace. Editing a Stash refreshes the Query Datasets and widgets built on it.
- Eric can turn a chat file attachment or a SQL workspace result into a Stash for you. Stashes count toward your company Dataset limit and hold up to 1 million rows.
Workflow Polling and Conditions
- HTTP GET steps can now wait for a ready response. Set Continue when / Keep waiting when / Stop the run when conditions plus the number of checks backoff and time budget right in the visual editor and the run timeline shows each check the next check time and the remaining budget.
- Workflow Conditions can now compare a value to another step’s output (equals or not equals) instead of only to a fixed value.
Filevine Datasets
- Added Filevine Project Members Organization Roles Project Role Assignments and Project Phases datasets and expanded Projects to 23 fields so cases-per-attorney and phase reporting is finally on the table.
Eric Related Work
- Eric chat now keeps a Related work panel docked on the right that groups everything a conversation touched (Dashboards Reports Datasets Query Datasets Workflows Filter Variables Custom Integrations and Knowledge Files) with one click to open each editor.
- Filter Variables and Query Datasets Eric creates or edits now appear in Related work automatically. On smaller screens the same links sit in a collapsible strip above the message box.
Dashboard Speed
- Applying a filter on dashboards with metric widgets no longer freezes the page for seconds while the numbers animate.
- Dashboards with many Query Widgets on the same Query Dataset load much faster and widgets that had to wait are retried together instead of one at a time.
- Faster and more reliable live connection between your browser and Resplendent so dashboards stay responsive during long sessions.
Eric Reports and Chat
- Eric now shows saved Report PDFs right in the chat (files up to 10 MB) and larger files stay available in Report history.
- When a widget or dataset preview runs out of memory Eric now says so clearly with retry guidance instead of blaming the query text.
Dataset Syncing
- Dataset refresh schedules now count from the last successful sync so queue delays no longer shorten the time between refreshes.
- Resyncs and very large snapshot Datasets are handled by the sync worker in controlled batches so one big resync no longer stalls other syncs or interrupts Eric.
Dashboards and Query Widgets
- Clicking anywhere on a dashboard filter value row now toggles it and Apply stays in view on phones with the keyboard open.
- Query Widget tables no longer jump or resize when a refresh returns the same data.
- Dashboard filter changes no longer occasionally fail to re-render widgets until the filter is applied again.
- Query Widgets that still fail after their final retry now show as broken instead of loading forever.
- Drilldown downloads now show a clear message when something goes wrong instead of a generic error.
Workflow Runs and Triggers
- Data-change triggers now wait until every source behind a Workflow has finished refreshing so partially loaded Datasets no longer admit old records.
- Workflow refreshes no longer get stuck behind sources that are still syncing which had left some Query Widgets without updates.
- Queued Workflow Runs now run in order and disabling a Workflow stops its queued Runs.
- Enabling a Data-change trigger on very large Datasets no longer fails or times out on save.
Workflow List and Timeline
- The Workflows list now scrolls when you have more Workflows than fit on screen.
- HTTP response toggles on the Workflow run timeline now show a chevron so you can tell whether they are open or closed.
SQL Server MySQL and Sync Agents
- SQL Server and MySQL sources with self-signed certificates can be browsed and inspected again just like they sync.
- SQL Server 2012 sources can now load table details and be inspected by Eric.
- Sync agent Datasets are no longer disabled for having no data when the source actually has rows.
- Time and duration columns now keep their exact values and an unusual column type no longer derails Eric’s dataset inspection.
Infor NetSuite Zammad and Stemmons
- Infor Compass no longer accepts incomplete results as a finished sync and the Incremental sync option shows up again when the source supports it.
- Infor Compass history syncs on large tables no longer stall after the first page and Infor update syncs now honor the configured batch size.
- NetSuite field discovery no longer drops fields that happen to be empty in sample rows or wipes your saved column selections.
- Zammad Ticket Articles now catch up in checkpointed batches instead of timing out after a resync.
- Stemmons Quest imports work again with faster discovery of newly created quests.
Eric
- Eric no longer rejects definitions whose descriptions or SQL contain a colon followed by a space.
- Query Widget draft cards now appear while Eric is still responding.
- Publishing a draft widget that fails validation or hits a plan limit now shows a clear warning and keeps your draft so you can fix it.
- Wide tables in Eric chat are no longer cut off next to the Related work panel.
v4.48.3
October 19, 2026Overview
A quick hotfix round to keep your data flowing: dashboards and reports stop tripping over Datasets that sync mid-read Share Link viewers can change filters without getting turned away and syncs no longer leave Datasets stuck in processing.
Workflow Report Errors
- Improved workflow report steps so a failed report now shows the underlying element errors that caused it instead of only a generic “Failed to evaluate Report Element” message.
Datasets Share Links and Syncing
- Fixed dashboard widgets tables and reports that failed with “Dataset changed during query execution” when a Dataset synced while it was being read. Reads now pick up the newly synced data and retry automatically and a storage check that wrongly flagged unchanged Datasets as changed no longer blocks those reads.
- Fixed Share Links where changing a filter on a dashboard with Query Widgets showed an access-denied error (“Calculation is not available through this share link”) on the first load after the change. Viewers now see their filtered results right away and the link’s permissions and saved filter scope still apply.
- Fixed incremental syncs with no new rows that could leave a Dataset stuck as processing when overlapping refresh updates collided. Those collisions are now retried automatically.
v4.48.0
October 16, 2026Overview
Rotating Share Links turn your wall TVs into a dashboard playlist Permission Groups bring row-level security to Query Datasets and Query Widgets and Filevine joins the native connector lineup. Reports also get reusable House Styles dashboards built on Query Widgets load a lot faster and we fixed issues across date ranges drilldown exports Snowflake imports and more.
Share Links Permissions and Filevine
- Added Rotating Share Links: one public link (and TV code) cycles through a playlist of dashboards in order with per-dashboard viewing time filters and date settings. Viewers can pause skip between dashboards and see progress on screen. Password email allowlist theme drilldown and expiration settings stay on the link. Dashboard transitions rolling titles and progressive table reveals make it smoother to watch and motion respects reduced-motion preferences and is turned off in print. Available on eligible plans; existing single-dashboard share links are unchanged.
- Added row-level permissions for Query Datasets and Query Widgets: Dashboard Groups become Permission Groups (existing memberships and dashboard assignments are kept) and administrators can grant or block whole Datasets and set row policies based on user email user metadata or group metadata. Policies apply on every read including Filter Variable options and Eric so each viewer sees only the rows they’re allowed to see.
- Added the native Filevine connector: connect with a service-account personal access token with seven read-only Datasets and incremental sync. Existing Filevine connections keep working.
Reports Dashboards Tables and Eric
- Improved report styling with House Styles: save named reusable Company styles that apply across reports by element type chart type and role. Edit them with Eric or by hand in a dedicated House Styles workspace review revisions archive and restore and preview a style before choosing Save or Revert. House Styles open from the report toolbar or from links in Eric’s replies.
- Improved dashboards built on Query Widgets so they load much faster: a dashboard’s visible widgets now go out in one request shared data is read once and results stream in as each widget finishes. Widgets also get more time before they time out and repeat opens stay fast.
- Improved report runs and previews so elements that read the same Query Dataset share one evaluation instead of each re-running it which fixes out-of-memory failures on large reports.
- Improved table previews and dashboard tables so they paginate by default (PDFs still include every row). Press F for the next page and D for the previous one when a table is focused or hovered.
- Improved connections from external AI assistants (over MCP): they now see which integrations your Company has connected are pointed to Resplendent for business-data questions get clearer guidance and errors when querying data and stay signed in longer between refreshes.
- Improved Eric’s Dataset discovery: Eric can now search and page through Datasets by name when a SQL query refers to one it doesn’t recognize and finds Snowflake catalog entries and saved SQL Datasets by their codes and IDs.
- Improved Eric’s ability to rename a dashboard’s definition folder (keeping widgets layout permissions and share links intact) and to recover from edits that don’t match the current file.
- Improved how Eric handles temporary AI provider overloads: they now go through the safe retry countdown instead of failing the response.
Dates Exports Datasets Workflows UI and Eric
- Fixed dashboard date ranges that cross a daylight saving change so ranges like year-to-last-month start and end on the right days.
- Fixed classic widget drilldown exports so Excel downloads include only the selected group instead of every group.
- Fixed Snowflake imports that could quietly replace a Dataset with incomplete results. Mismatched row counts now fail the sync and keep the last good snapshot.
- Fixed joined Dataset previews and drilldown downloads that failed when a Dataset was republished while it was being read.
- Fixed timeouts when deleting workflow folders.
- Fixed workflow activation timeouts so they show a clear timeout error (and confirm nothing was saved) instead of a confusing transaction error.
- Fixed blank charts after an app update by reloading the page automatically when chart code fails to load.
- Fixed the update-available dialog and the 2FA reminder stacking on top of each other when the app opens. Tabs nobody has used yet now just reload quietly.
- Fixed a mismatched corner color behind the main content area in custom themes with a contrasting sidebar.
- Fixed Eric table styling so unsupported cell expressions or misplaced pill helpers get clear errors when saving instead of saving and doing nothing.
- Fixed Eric SQL queries that failed after a Query Dataset’s columns changed during the same conversation.
- Fixed Eric searches that were rejected when backticks appeared inside quoted text.
v4.44.0
October 7, 2026Overview
QuickBooks Invoices can carry native payment links. Zammad gains Ticket History with more reliable tag syncing and native SQL connectors (PostgreSQL MySQL SQL Server and IBM DB2) get Source SQL Studio plus incremental sync—while Eric can keep working for up to an hour with clearer temporary-failure retries and we fixed dashboard folder visibility date-range calendars chart refresh animation template plan-check timeouts and several Eric definition and report save failures.
QuickBooks Zammad SQL Studio and Infor
- Added QuickBooks Invoice Link on the native Invoices Dataset: when QuickBooks Online returns a shareable payment URL (online payments enabled and a valid customer email) it is stored as Invoice Link so collections work can open the specific invoice. Line-item and credit-memo Datasets are unchanged; the column stays empty when Intuit does not return a link.
- Added Zammad Ticket History Dataset for time-in-status and other direct ticket changes (previous/new values actor and change-source metadata) plus bounded batch syncing for Ticket Tags and related Datasets so large initial and historical pulls stay within sync timeouts. Audit Logs now expose Auditable Type Label.
- Added Source SQL Studio and incremental Dataset sync for PostgreSQL MySQL SQL Server and IBM DB2: browse schemas view definitions and statistics; run bounded SELECT previews; and choose scalar or composite identities with supported watermarks even without database key constraints. DB2 requires the on-prem sync agent (IBM i Access ODBC). Snowflake keeps its existing Studio and eligibility rules.
- Added safer Infor Compass discovery for import proposals: uses declared identity metadata when available (instead of guessing from row-ID names or sample uniqueness) with clearer evidence when that metadata is missing or unsupported. Staff with full Dataset access can request up to five sample source rows before import; samples are not published data.
Eric Runtime and Retries
- Improved Eric so a single response can keep working for up to one hour when model and tool calls are still making progress (up from about ten minutes) with Dataset Provisioning proposals staying confirmable longer after a long run.
- Improved Eric temporary AI failures so they no longer look like Resplendent server overload: safe retries show a countdown with Stop and attempt count and interrupted streams can reconnect to the same run without resubmitting the message.
Eric Saves UI Charts Folders and Templates
- Eric widget Dataset and Report definition saves that failed when a column name or mapping key contained # (for example Ticket #) now preserve those names instead of treating them as YAML comments.
- Eric knowledge edits keep revision metadata accurate when a read combines search with file content (for example search-then-open) including filtered or truncated reads.
- Eric report previews and saves no longer fail when reading a Query Dataset inside an open savepoint tried to commit the transaction.
- Company setup for users awaiting access approval now lets them log out and return to sign-in (including changing region) instead of being stuck on the pending screen.
- Two-month date-range calendars no longer highlight the same dates twice in neighboring month grids when a range spans adjacent months.
- Query Widget charts keep incremental transitions on data refreshes instead of replaying the full entrance animation on every update (bar line pie gauge and funnel).
- Dashboard folder lists for members now show only folders that contain dashboards they can open (plus parent folders needed to navigate there); empty and inaccessible-only folders stay hidden. Staff and administrators still see every company folder.
- Apply Template plan-limit checks that timed out now show a timeout (or other request error) with Try again instead of incorrectly saying the template exceeds plan limits.
v4.43.1
October 5, 2026Overview
Query Widgets can play threshold sounds with clearer directional chart colors. Eric now comes with more usage included and Staff can connect external AI clients to Eric over MCP—while dashboards open with less overhead and we fixed matrix Excel exports legacy Dataset creation stalled historical backfills Eric preview images reserved-word SQL aliases and case-colliding export headers.
Query Widgets Eric and MCP
- Added Query Widget threshold sounds (Gauge Metric Display bar and line) with mute/snooze controls on dashboards and Share Links plus directional threshold colors range legends and clearer threshold comparisons.
- Eric now comes with more usage included.
- Added Eric MCP access for external AI clients: Staff and higher can connect a web client with OAuth or a personal token (read-only or read/write) acting with the signed-in user’s current Company permissions. Clients can browse and edit knowledge and saved definitions run workspace and saved-widget queries preview and no-send-test Workflows and generate Reports. Manage connections from the profile. Dashboard creation and Custom Integration template authoring are not included yet.
Dashboard Performance
- Improved dashboard startup and rendering so boards open and update with less overhead (editors tables and related UI load on demand; abandoned widget results are cleaned up sooner).
Exports Datasets and Eric
- Classic matrix drilldown Excel exports that could download headers only when a calculation filtered a delimiter-separated axis value now include detail rows that match the on-screen calculation with native dates and timestamps preserved in the spreadsheet.
- Query Widgets that stayed on the first historical backfill pull now refresh as later source publications arrive within the same cadence window.
- Joined and modified Dataset creation again works for companies that already have a non-sample joined or modified Dataset (companies without that history stay on the newer creation path).
- Template concurrency edge cases no longer interfere with template usage checks during heavier workloads.
- Eric chat runs no longer fail after saving widgets when loading preview images for the next reply (image reads no longer collide with the active save session).
- Eric workspace queries that failed when a column alias matched a reserved SQL keyword without an explicit AS are repaired automatically when safe.
- Excel and CSV exports that could download headers only when two column headers differed only by letter case now keep colliding headers’ spelling with numeric suffixes so every row lands in the workbook.
v4.40.0
September 29, 2026Overview
Dashboards remember each user’s filters and paginate table widgets. Snowflake can turn a custom SELECT into a snapshot Dataset and we added a native Infor Compass connector plus a NetSuite Ship Items dataset—alongside clearer Eric report pages and fewer Workflow Query Dataset false starts.
Dashboards Connectors and Datasets
- Added dashboard filter memory: each user’s last filter selection is saved per dashboard (it does not expire). New tabs restore your saved filters; share links embeds and view-as do not overwrite them.
- Added native Infor Compass connector: connect read-only to Infor Data Fabric Compass with discrete credentials discover objects and schemas and sync with incremental pulls when a stable row ID exists (otherwise snapshot).
- Added NetSuite Ship Items dataset: optional daily snapshot you can join to Sales Orders so ship method IDs resolve to names and display names.
- Added table pagination and full-screen expand on dashboard table and matrix widgets (J/K page while the pointer is over the widget). Query Widget tables paginate by default and can expand to preview the full result.
- Added Snowflake custom SELECT snapshot Datasets: from SQL Studio save a successfully previewed SELECT as a Dataset (and edit the SQL later). Snapshots refresh on a schedule with a configurable row cap; cloud Snowflake connections only and creating or changing source SQL requires full Dataset access.
Eric Reports and Query Datasets
- Improved Eric report authoring with ordered pages (each authored page gets its own PDF sheet) tables that can grow across pages with optional page caps auto-saving layout edits rearrangeable pages and per-page orientation. Existing report definitions convert to the page format.
- Improved Workflow Data triggers and SQL workspace reads for Query Datasets: schema can be resolved from the saved query when the column cache is empty and non-permission failures surface clearer error codes with repair guidance instead of looking like an authorization failure.
Widgets Syncs and Eric
- Query Widget tables now show Export beside Open Drilldown in the widget footer (same Excel export as inside the drilldown dialog).
- Snowflake Dataset syncs and table previews that timed out on slower views now allow up to five-minute sync queries (preview budget raised to match).
- Eric dashboard and widget definition saves no longer fail when a top-level YAML key was indented by a single space.
- Eric knowledge searches that failed on common search options or very large folder matches now return a bounded clearly truncated result instead of an invalid-input error.
