Understanding the Recent ConnectWise Outage and Its Impact on Resplendent Data

In the ever-evolving world of technology, disruptions, while inconvenient, can occasionally occur. As many of you are aware, our partner ConnectWise experienced a significant outage on June 13, 2023.

The Incident

This disruption was due to an issue at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the EAST-US-1 Region, which caused an operational disruption to ConnectWise’s services. As we rely on ConnectWise’s API to sync data to your Resplendent Data dashboards, this interruption had a temporary impact on our ability to update your dashboards.

The Resolution

We are pleased to inform you that the issue at AWS has been resolved and ConnectWise’s services are fully operational again. As a result, we have resumed syncing data from ConnectWise to your dashboards.

A Remaining Notification

However, in the wake of this disruption, you might notice a persistent notification in our software, prompting you to save your connection to ConnectWise again. This is a precautionary measure we’ve implemented to ensure seamless data syncing after the outage.

To clear this notification, please navigate to the Integrations page in your Resplendent Data account and save your ConnectWise connection again. This step helps confirm the successful reintegration between our services.
