v1.0.8
June 21, 2023Overview
Hello again to our dedicated Resplendent Data users! It’s time for our regular Change Log update, where we delve into the improvements, features, and bug fixes we’ve been working on. With this release, we’ve put a lot of effort into enhancing widget functionality, improving UI, and fixing bugs to make your experience smoother and more intuitive.
Let’s jump right into what’s new in version 1.0.8:
Custom columns in Widgets
You now have the ability to create a custom column within your widgets! By choosing a calculation type such as Sum, Average, Median, Min, or Max, and then toggling the custom column feature, you can combine columns to create a single value. This functionality lets you, for instance, multiply a decimal column by 100 to get the percentage value.
New columns in Resplendent tickets view Dataset
We’ve expanded the available columns in the Resplendent Tickets View dataset to include Detail Notes, Internal Notes, Resolution Notes, and Has Resolution Note.
Widget editor speed
We’ve boosted the speed of our widget editor, making quick edits smoother and reducing the risk of freezing.
Button wording
The “No X-Axis” button has been renamed to “Use Data Stream Label,” better clarifying its function.
Virtual column UI
We’ve carried out a significant overhaul of the virtual column UI to make it more compact and user-friendly.
Modified Dataset saving
We’ve corrected an issue that was preventing a modified dataset from being saved if it didn’t have a widget assigned to it.
Widget data status dot
A bug that turned the widget data status dot black if a widget was missing some configurations has been fixed.
New Widget column selection
We fixed a bug where creating a new widget prevented users from selecting columns.
Standard line charts
We’ve addressed a bug where standard line charts without data labels enabled would show the leading dot on the back of the line instead of the front.
Data Stream copying
We’ve fixed an issue where copying a data stream in a widget would prevent users from selecting columns on the copied version of the data stream.
Summary
v1.0.7
June 10, 2023Overview
Greetings from the Resplendent Data team! In the latest installment of our Change Log series, we’re sharing details about version 1.0.7. For this update, we’ve prioritized enhancing our platform’s stability and resolving key issues, rather than introducing new features.
Here’s what this stability-centric update brings:
Data preview icon on Widgets
To enhance the user experience, we’ve introduced an icon on widgets that indicates when they’re displaying preview data. This icon appears after a widget or a modified dataset is saved, providing immediate clarity about the status of the data being viewed.
Refinement to templating system
To boost platform stability, we’ve made minor yet essential improvements to our templating system, ensuring its efficiency and ease of use.
Immediate Widget rendering
Addressing an important usability issue, we’ve fixed a bug that caused a delay in widget rendering until data was refreshed. Now, widgets will render immediately for smoother visualization.
Improved share link functionality
We’ve tackled a bug that incorrectly prompted users to sign in when accessing shared links following a dashboard edit and save. This fix ensures uninterrupted data sharing and collaboration.
Summary
While version 1.0.7 may not come with new features, it’s a testament to our commitment to delivering a reliable, efficient, and seamless user experience. As we continue refining our platform, we appreciate your ongoing support of Resplendent Data. Please feel free to reach out to our support team with any questions or feedback. Thank you!
v1.0.6
June 2, 2023Overview
Welcome back to our Change Log series for Resplendent Data! In our pursuit of making Resplendent Data the best dashboard SaaS solution, we are thrilled to announce the updates and improvements in version 1.0.6 of our platform. Let’s take a look at what’s new.
Line Widget overlays
Line widgets now include an option to overlay the most recent value on top of the chart. This is particularly useful when you want to focus on the latest data point while still maintaining historical context.
Full-screen mode
We’ve added a full-screen mode that hides the header and sidebar, enabling you to view your dashboard without any distractions.
Drilldown date support
Drilldowns now support dates. When you click on a point in a line chart, the drilldown will filter the data to only show data within the time window of that point.
Feedback button
To better serve you, we’ve added a feedback button in the header. You can provide feedback on any screen, and we’ll receive logs of any issues leading up to the point of your feedback.
Instant data reprocessing
Now, after saving a widget or modified dataset, you won’t have to wait for another sync for the data to be available. The data will be reprocessed immediately with the new filters.
Sidebar functionality
Collapsing the sidebar while viewing a dashboard now resizes the dashboard to fully utilize the available space.
Number Widget thresholds
We fixed an issue where number widgets with thresholds only triggered the threshold if the value exceeded it. Now, the threshold will be triggered when the value of the widget meets the threshold.
Action table search
Fixed a bug in the action tables on the All Dashboards and Data Streams page. Previously, searching after switching to the second page of the table would cause the table to malfunction.
Bug tracking
We’ve resolved some issues with our bug tracking to make the process more efficient.
Summary
We hope these improvements in version 1.0.6 of Resplendent Data make your experience even better. As always, we welcome your questions and feedback, so feel free to reach out to our support team. Stay tuned for future Change Log updates. Thank you for choosing Resplendent Data!

Syncing Notification
Resolved a bug where the syncing notification would get stuck if a dataset didn’t support pulling old batches of data.
