Updated: August 28, 2025

Step 1: Initiate the Connection in Resplendent Data

First, you’ll start the process from your Resplendent Data account.

  1. Navigate to the sidebar menu and go to Data Settings > Integrations.
  2. Find the Liongard integration tile. Click the three-dot menu on the tile.
  3. Select New Connection from the dropdown menu.
  4. You’ll be taken to the “Connect to Liongard” page, where you’ll need to enter your credentials. Keep this page open as you’ll need it in a moment.

Step 2: Generate API Credentials in Liongard

Next, you need to generate a new API key and secret from your Liongard account.

  1. Log in to your Liongard instance.
  2. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  3. Select Account Settings from the menu.
  4. In the left-hand navigation panel, click on Access Tokens.
  5. Click the Generate New Token button and select Liongard API Token.
  6. A pop-up will appear asking you to choose an expiration period. For a long-lasting connection, you can select Unlimited. Click Generate.
  7. Liongard will now display your Access Key ID and Access Key Secret. Note: Be sure to copy the Access Key Secret and store it securely, as Liongard will not show it to you again.

Step 3: Finalize the Connection

Now, return to the Resplendent Data page to finish the setup.

  1. Copy the Access Key ID from Liongard and paste it into the Access Key ID field in Resplendent Data.
  2. Copy the Access Key Secret from Liongard and paste it into the Access Key Secret field.
  3. In the URL Prefix field, enter the subdomain of your Liongard URL. This is the first part of the address (e.g., us1, eu1).
  4. Provide a memorable name for your connection in the Connection Title field (e.g., “Liongard Primary”).
  5. Click the Save and Test button. If the credentials are correct, you will see a “Connected” success message.
  6. Finally, click Sync Datasets and select a metric you’d like to sync into Resplendent Data.
